Whitehorse Brewing Collabs with Sarris Candies!

As a born-and-raised Yinzer, save for my college years, there are certain things that are Pittsburgh sacred. Whether it be Primanti’s sandwiches, cotton candy from Kennywood, or anything else, some things just bleed black and gold.

Sarris Candies is one of these institutions for me. I remember selling the candy bars in Elementary schools and the easter chocolate. It is the best, period. No questions. The chocolate just tastes better! The Canonsburg location boasts the best ice  cream parlor in the ‘Burgh. A personal favorite of mine is getting melted chocolate hard cap on top of the ice cream. It’s beyond.

Little did I know, this Pittsburgh candy juggernaut just collaborated with Whitehorse Brewing on a beer! Two of my favorite treats – Sarris chocolate and beer, combined! Sold. With two locations, one in Berlin, PA and one near Washington, PA –  grab a hold of this beer for a taste of Pittsburgh!

Released just this week, the Twist N Stout is a 5% white stout available on tap. Unique is an understatement for this beer – they’ve used Sarris cocoa and their chocolate covered pretzels to make that dessert taste shine through. Creamy in texture and sweet in flavor, this beer is a must try for me!

Available to purchase at both locations, head out to Whitehorse this weekend for a sweet treat! Make sure to check social media for regulations regarding on premises consumption and don’t forget your mask!
