Taking it Outside with Cobblehaus

Outdoor spaces are a must have right now for breweries! With limited indoor capacity being the norm right now, an outdoor space makes things feel normal again during this chaotic year.

Cobblehaus, located in Coraopolis (near Robinson), has a new outdoor space that they have opened for us all to grab a drink in! Hours will be from 2-8 on Saturdays and from 12-4 on Sundays. Furry friends are welcome as well, but cannot be brought into the brewery.

The process for ordering is simple – head inside, ask for your drinks to be for outside and you’re good to go! Head across the street, sit down and you’re good to go!

They’ve got a great taplist right now as well. As a brewery that focuses on German and Belgian styles, expect a great altbier, tripel, and dunkel. Prost! However, the two that intrigue me the most are the Black Bear Black IPA and the Grandma’s Special K Peanut Butter Cereal Stout.  I tend to gravitate to darker beers, and the Black Bear has malty, roasted notes with plenty of hop taste to balance it out. This nitro stout is smooth and tastes like breakfast cereal!

With something for everyone, Cobblehaus is a great place to spend a Saturday night or a Sunday Funday this summer!
