It’s so exciting to write that things are opening again. Seriously though, good news is always worth sharing. Outdoor spaces are my favorite places to drink, especially now – they provide the sunshine and the social distancing I need to enjoy a beer out!
Sobel’s Obscure Brewery (Jeannette, PA), the subject of my #followfriday post due to their hilarious Instagram game, is blessing us with a brand new outdoor space to enjoy their tasty brews! Located at 108 S 4th St in Jeannette, the opening day for the space is this Saturday!
They are debuting some new brews for the occasion as well – the latest sneak peek post has a few that catch my eye. I love a good brown ale and anything maple, so Mayapple’s Maple sounds like a great choice! Also, creamsicle ales are the epitome of a summer beer – and the Periwinkle’s creamsicle cream ale will be the first thing I order this Saturday! With stouts, pilsners and hefeweizens on the menu as well, there’s something for everyone.
The pop up garden will be open on weekends only, with food trucks so you can grab a bite with your meal! This weekend they’ve got the Roll Up Food Truck on Saturday and Franktuary on Sunday from 4-8pm. Stop by this weekend and grab a cold beer!
