With summertime finally here, my beer tastes are making that switch to lighter, sessionable brews. The warmer weather calls for beers that quench after a day outside exploring trails or the city. This also means going to a brewery and having a beer (or 3) under the summer sun. I’m so glad this time has come!
This week, fruited beers have stolen my heart and taste buds. In particular, the Strawberry Way beer from Burgh’ers Brewing. A blonde ale conditioned on strawberries, this 5% beer goes down easy. Crushable is an understatement. You’ll be on pint two of this one before you know it. Seriously – I was!
Named after the revitalization of Strawberry Way in downtown Pittsburgh, this beer is perfect for a semi-post-quarantine June. With locations in both Lawrenceville and Zelienople, Burgh’ers boasts a diverse tap list if a strawberry beer doesn’t quench your thirst.
Check out for Burgh’ers’ social media for their current hours as they fully transition to the green stage. Both locations are now open and operating at 50% capacity!
Stop in for $15 growler fills, or a pint on site (that feels SO AMAZING to say)!
