Green means go, my friends!
As we prepare for breweries re-opening in the era of social distancing, I wanted to take the time to highlight one of my favorite breweries and their opening policies: Abjuration Brewing in McKees Rocks.
If you’re looking for creative adjunct-laden brews, alongside solid traditional styles, this is the place. Owners Tom and Dave have brewed beer with matcha, beets, and even a blue raspberry DIPA that tasted like a slushie in the best way!
They are set to have five beers on tap for their reopening and are posting the draft list today.
Also, the can drop for the weekend is going to be EPIC. The Pink Lemonade Sour hits the store today. They’ve been killing the sours game, so this will be a hit!
Seating in the brewery is limited, so Abjuration recommends making a reservation on their online store They will be open 5-9 Friday, 1-9 on Saturday and 1-5 on Sunday of this weekend.
Bring a mask as you will need to wear one when moving about the taproom. Of course, you will be able to remove your mask when seated and drinking your beer.
Not quite ready for a pint in the taproom yet? Not to fear – cans will be available through the online site for pickup.
I highly recommend making your own four-pack and trying all of the crazy goodness they have to offer!
