Jeanette, PA-based Sobel’s Obscure Brewery recently released a COVID-19 commercial and we must admit… it’s fantastic!
Alright, so we can all use a good laugh these days. With everything going on the world these days, it’s nice to find a little laughter among the craziness. Sobel’s certainly delivered.
“We wanted to bring some levity into an otherwise heavy situation,” said Jackie Sobel, co-owner of Sobel’s.
Sobel’s Obscure Brewery is made up of the father/daughter team of David and Jackie Sobel. Known for their famous “gnomes”, Sobel’s is a production-only brewery working on expanding to a full-fledged taptoom and production facility in the future.
Like most breweries in Pennsylvania impacted by Governor’s Wolf’s recent stay-at-home orders, Jackie and David are finding creative ways to continue marketing and selling their beer to their fans.
To let their fans know they’re still brewing beer and still selling takeout beers at their warehouse location, the Sobel’s tapped in to David and Jackie’s comedic side. Featuring raving reviews from the people of Jeanette, David’s forklift driving talents, as well as David getting locked in the walk-in cooler, the COVID-19 is sure to at least bring a smile to your face.
If you want to grab some great beer from the team at Sobel’s, head down to their warehouse location at 108 S 4th St, Jeanette, PA 15644, Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm – 7pm. While you’re there, share a laugh with the Sobel’s team. As Jackie says, “We want the Sobel’s experience to be a fun one.”
