Episode 20: How an English pub sparked a husband/wife brewery team, the story of Leaning Cask Brewing

On today’s episode, Joe and I sit down with Josh and Stefanie from Leaning Cask Brewing in Springdale, PA.

So, I have to admit that I’m a big dog person and Leaning Cask is awesome first and foremost because they’re super dog friendly.  They even have a bathroom inside for dogs!

But, aside from being dog-friendly, and having a really awesome taproom, Leaning Cask is really pumping out some awesome beers (all of which are named after dog-related things).  One of my favorites of the night was the Sit. Stay., an 8.9% New England IPA that’s hopped with Mosaic, Denali and Cryo Simcoe.

Josh and Stefanie tell us how English pubs inspired the feel of this brewery and how together, they balance each other’s particular talents to run the day-to-day operations of the brewery together.

So, if you’re a fan of dog-friendly breweries pumping out really awesome beers, this episode is for you.
