On today’s episode, Joe and I stop by Tabol Brewing, the second stop on our three-day Richmond brewery tour.

Tabol Brewing is a newer brewery located in Richmond’s Battery Park area. Tabol’s beer tend to lean more on the wild, funky side of things.

What makes Tabol brewing unique is they chose to brew with yeasts and micro biota that are found locally in their area. On top of that, they use only wooden vessels when fermenting and conditioning their beers.

We found that Tabol’s funky, unique beers are quite a change of pace from the normal brewery taplists. And their tap room is certainly a sight to see for all beer lovers.
