Today is July 4th, the day we celebrate America’s independence. So, I have one question, “is it possible to celebrate the Fourth of July without beers?”

It’s not. The answer is.. it’s not possible.

Today, I’m featuring four beers that are worthy of ringing in your Fourth of July properly.

Grab your grill tools and fireworks; it’s time for beers..

Bald Eagle by Dancing Gnome – DIPA 8%

The Bald Eagle is pretty important to Americans. In fact, it’s our national bird and animal. So, when it comes to celebrating America, you have to start with our symbol of freedom.

Dancing Gnome doesn’t disappoint with the latest release from their bird series. This hazy DIPA is hopped with only America’s favorite hops: Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Amarillo.

You’ll grab notes of Citrus that will make you think of Florida, notes of Pine that will remind you of the Appalachian Mountains, and a finish smoother than the California beaches.

There might be too much freedom in this can.

Double mmm… Fruit Dream Strawberry, Mango and Vanilla by Other Half – Berliner Weisse 7.0%

What Fourth of July picnic is complete without a fruit salad?

Luckily, Other Half has you covered. This Double mmm… Fruit Dream with Strawberry, Mango and Vanilla will round out your food spread better than any store-bought fruit salad can.

Be prepared for lots of mango and strawberry right up front with a slightly-tart presence. This tartness than makes way for a smooth, vanilla finish.

Wes Mantooth by Missing Mountain – Hazy IPA 7.5%

You’ll love the beer named after Ron Burgundy’s half-brother and chief rival. Let’s be honest, the movie is an American classic!

This hazy from the guys at Missing Mountain is packed full of America. It’s well-hopped with Idaho Gem and Idaho 7, so you’re going to a heck of an aroma of tropical and citrus fruits with just a little bitterness.

You stay classy, America.

Kaboom Candy Mango & Guava by Grist House – Fruited Sour 4.5%

It’s not the Fourth of July unless firework are involved. So, you need a beer that going light fireworks on your palette.

There’s no better beer for the job than the properly-named Kaboom Candy from Grist House. The latest release from the series, Mango & Guava, is the perfect sour for ending your night.
